‘CryptoDad’ Giancarlo Joins Paxos Board

J. Christopher Giancarlo, a former chief of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, has joined the board of directors for the firm that issues the PayPal stablecoin.

The company plans to issue a U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin upon receiving full approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore, its central bank.
